The Church

Route One is delivered by Christians from local churches who have been trained by our project team.

The Project Team

This team runs the project on an ongoing basis and includes people with vast experience of working both in schools and in communities. This team not only trains the people from churches but also acts as a quality control during the delivery of the project.

Simon Ford - Project Co-ordinator

Simon has been involved in delivering Christian education in schools

since 1997. This has included working as the co-ordinator of Network Youth (a Christian schools project) and as a teacher of Religious Education in both King Edmunds school in Rochford and Southend High school for Girls. Simon has developed the vision and  is responsible for the running of the project.

Gavin Dixon - Project Advisor

Gavin is the leader of King's Church Southend. Gavin used to head

up The Kings Coach ministry which operated a very similar vision to Route One. From 1988 -1996 he led teams when the bus was utilised as an Educational Resource for Secondary Schools and also ran events and missions alongside churches in towns, Colleges and Universities across the UK and Europe. Gavin therefore brings a wealth of experience to help Route One be effective.

The Trustees

Route One has been set up by SEELEF

SEELEF is made up of local church leaders and provides oversight and the trusteeship for Route One.
