Linking With Churches PDF Print E-mail

We want to help build links between schools and churches and develop ongoing relationships which benefit the life of the school and the wellbeing of the pupils.

The Church
Route One is delivered by Christians from local churches who have been trained by our project team to work in schools. This provides the opportunity for links to be established between schools and churches and for follow up projects to happen locally.

The Project Team
This team runs the project on an ongoing basis and includes people who have vast experience of working in schools. This team not only trains people from churches but also acts as a quality control during the delivery of lessons and other activities in school.

The Project Co-ordinator
Simon Ford is our project co-ordinator. He has been involved in delivering Christian education in schools for the last 12 years. This has included being the co-ordinator of Network Youth (a Christian schools project) and a teacher of RE in both King Edmund school in Rochford and Southend High School for Girls. Simon is responsible for the running of the project and is directly accountable to the trustees.

The Trustees
The project has been set up by SEELEF (South East Essex Local Evangelical Fellowship). SEELEF is made up of local church leaders and provides the trusteeship for Route One.
